Explore Beautiful Devon
Park Mill Cottages comprise of four Eco-friendly self catering cottages set in beautiful unspoilt Devon countryside. Our grounds have a private stocked fishing lake and two rivers for fly fishing. Two of our cottages our dog friendly so your four legged friend can enjoy a break too!
Park Mill Cottages are situated in a magical riverside setting, less than a mile from Chulmleigh centre, with 20 acres of lush fields, woods and parkland where you are free to roam along with the abundant wildlife. From the viewing area on top of the hill with bench, to the river and lakeside areas, there is plenty to explore.
Chulmleigh town centre is now a conservation area and the rich grassland found here is home to the largest population of otters in any natural area in England. The area provides access to an abundance of leisure activities including walking, cycling, fishing, golf and horse riding along with a number of historic houses and gardens in the vicinity.
The small town offers two pubs, post office, corner shop, bakery, Tandoori, takeaway, hairdressors, florest, Hand made Handbag shop, art studio and a Golf club with bar.
Guests can enjoy the best of coast and country with Dartmoor and Exmoor nearby, as well as the North Devon coast in one direction and the cathedral city of Exeter in the other, all within an hour’s drive.

Each cottage has its own designated parking space.
PARKLAND WALKS
Park Mill Cottages are set in 20 acres of beautiful Devon countryside which can be accessed by guests for relaxing walks or picnics in the sun. Venture through our bridle path and explore the surrounding walking and hiking routes.
DOG FRIENDLY
At Park Mill Cottages we have four cottages and two of these are dog friendly!
PERFECT LOCATION FOR EXPLORING
Park Mill Cottages sit perfectly for exploring all that Devon has to offer. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both 25 minutes drive, Exeter is 40 minutes by car or train and the stunning North Devon coast is 50 minutes drive.
LOG BURNER
Each cottage has its own log burner for those cosy nights and winter months
LOCAL TOWN
The historic Saxon hilltop town is less than a mile away and offers, two pubs, convienience store, pantry, bakers, resturants and takaway.
LOCAL TRAINS
Our nearest train station is 6 minutes away which gives you direct access to the famous Tarka Line. Exeter is 38 minutes away and Barnstaple 24 minutes.
GOLF
If you fancy a round of Golf then the local area has plenty to choose from. In fact there is a tricky 18 hole par 3 course just one mile away that welcomes all.

THE SMITHY
2 Bedroom
A beautiful period barn conversion converted to be the perfect balance of traditional features with a modern twist. The Smithy has retained many original features including original beamed, vaulted ceilings with galleried features. With high quality furnishings and everything you could need The Smithy is a luxurious home from home.
OLD DAIRY
1 Bedroom
If you’re content just to enjoy the peace and quiet, pick a spot beside the river and enjoy a picnic on a sunny day, or make use of the site’s BBQ and treat the family to some al fresco dining ...well this is Devon after all. There’s even an on-site fishing lake for those of you who love nothing more than to cast your line and see what you can catch.
Old Dairy is a beautiful period barn conversion that has been compassionately converted to provide a tasteful and unique holiday home. Old Dairy has retained many original features, has high quality bespoke furniture and a kitchen and bathroom that are in keeping with the style of the property.
Original beamed, vaulted ceilings with galleried features create a light, airy and spacious feeling whilst the wood burner makes it an appealing rural retreat for cosy winter breaks.
CIDER BARN
1Bedroom
With the bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the living and kitchen upstairs this is a lovely quirky cottage. Always the favourite amongst guests.
Cider Barn at Park Mill Farm is a beautiful period barn conversion delicately converted to provide a tasteful and unique home from home. The original beamed, vaulted ceilings, stylish high quality furniture and underfloor heating make this the perfect blend of traditional and modern living.
RIVERSIDE
3 Bedroom
Set closest to the river our 3 bedroom cottage is stunning. Master bedroom upstairs with walk through bathroom and balcony velux make for a special stay.
